In this episode, Harmony speaks to the deeper orientation that shapes transpersonal counseling. This is an exploration of the therapeutic field, the way suffering is met, the way presence is held, and the conditions that allow healing to emerge as clients return to themselves.
She shares the foundations of this approach, including co-regulation, awake awareness, somatic intelligence, and subtle energy as lived processes that unfold moment by moment in the room.
Harmony also reflects on the role of the therapist within this work. Much of the suffering clients carry has been shaped by the misuse of power, by moments where others claimed authority over their experience and disrupted their connection to their own knowing. In this way, therapy becomes reparative, restoring the client’s relationship with themselves and reorienting them toward the intelligence that has always been present within them.
At its core, this episode is a reflection on what it means to be a therapist. To sit at the feet of suffering with reverence, to trust in the resilience of the human spirit, and to show up, again and again, as a steady and present witness in a world that often moves toward disconnection.
This work extends beyond helping. It asks for a deeper level of presence and participation. It is soul work. And in that sense, being a therapist becomes a kind of prayer for the world, a prayer for peace expressed not through words, but through the way each moment is met with awareness, compassion, and care. This is the deeper purpose of the work.

Train With Us
Therapists who resonate with this approach are invited to explore The Awakened Therapist trainings.
These immersive programs support clinicians in developing the capacity to work from awareness, attune to the relational field, and facilitate meaningful change through presence rather than intervention. The trainings integrate transpersonal principles, Gestalt therapy, somatic intelligence, and subtle energy into a cohesive and experiential model of practice.
Participants learn how to support co-regulation through attunement, self-attunement, self-validation, and responsivity, while deepening trust in the client’s innate capacity to heal. The work emphasizes both clinical skill and personal transformation, recognizing that the therapist’s state of consciousness is central to the healing process.
