The Level 1 Awakened Therapist Online Certification is a professional training program designed for both new and experienced clinicians who wish to deepen their practice through transpersonal counseling, somatic intelligence, and gestalt-informed interventions. This course integrates spirituality and subtle awareness with established foundations in neurobiology, attachment theory, trauma counseling, and the therapeutic relationship.

Program Overview:

» Session 1: Foundations of Energetic Coherence in Transpersonal Counseling
Learn how to cultivate therapeutic presence through authentic engagement, dialogic relationship, and awareness-based practices that build rapport, foster trust, and establish the foundation for transpersonal counseling.

» Session 2: Present-Moment Attunement and Inner Knowing
Explore how to attune to clients’ immediate verbal and nonverbal expression while supporting attachment repair. Develop skills to follow client-led awareness as a source of inner knowing and integrate interventions that foster psychological safety and relational trust.

» Session 3: Somatic Intelligence and Trauma-Informed Co-Regulation
Examine how to identify autonomic nervous system states and use trauma-informed somatic interventions to support co-regulation. Learn to strengthen resilience and embodiment when working with chronic dysregulation.

» Session 4: Understanding and Repairing Contact Boundary Disturbances
Study how clients disrupt contact with themselves, others, and their environment through boundary disturbances such as introjection, projection, deflection, and retroflection. Gain strategies to repair contact, restore awareness, and deepen client engagement.

» Session 5: Creative Experimentation in Gestalt-Informed Practice
Engage with creative experiments such as two-chair, empty-chair, and attachment repair processes. Learn how to apply Gestalt-based techniques to foster transformation within a safe and structured clinical framework.

» Session 6: Clinical Integration and Emotional Repair
Integrate transpersonal, somatic, and Gestalt approaches into a cohesive clinical framework. Learn how to facilitate corrective emotional experiences, support deep repair, and sustain long-term therapeutic change while honoring client sovereignty.

Along with these monthly meetings, you will receive supplementary recordings to support your learning.  

Schedule for The Awakened Therapist Training

Live learning on zoom will take place over the course of 6 months. We will meet on the first Friday of each month, unless there is a holiday (as with July, when we will meet on the second Friday). Each class will be recorded, so if you miss a class or want to revisit content this will be available to you.

We will meet on the following days and times:

»Month 1: March 6th, 10:00 to 12:00 MT 

»Month 2: April 3rd, 10:00 to 12:00 MT 

»Month 3: May 1st, 10:00 to 12:00 MT 

»Month 4: June 5th, 10:00 to 12:00 MT 

»Month 5: July 10th (due to the holiday weekend on July 3rd), 10:00 to 12:00 MT 

»Month 6: August 7th, 10:00 to 12:00 MT 

Along with these group learning days, you will also receive the following: 

»Additional recorded lectures each month along with PDF handouts.

»You will have the option to meet twice a month with your triad where you will practice and observe skills, and integrate your learning together.
