Integrating nature therapy with somatic psychology offers a powerful and accessible path to deepen the transformative potential of transpersonal counseling. In this episode, Harmony is joined by Katie Asmus, founder of the Somatic Nature Therapy Institute, for a heartfelt conversation on the therapeutic value of connecting with the natural world. They explore how nature supports body-mind integration and healing, as well as how to work with clients who may have complex or negative associations with nature.

In the extended teaching available on Patreon, Katie shares nature-based practices designed to help individuals access their intuition, deepen self-trust, and reconnect with their true nature.

Katie Asmus, LPC, BMP, believes that all humans have an innate capacity for healing—and, with the right support, will naturally move toward wholeness. Her passion for honoring the wisdom of nature inspired her to found the Somatic Nature Therapy Institute, where she trains therapists, coaches, and community leaders in body-centered, nature-based practices.
