Traditional counseling approaches separate a client’s psychological health from their spirituality. Integrating spirituality into therapeutic practices allows us to honor a clients’ innate wisdom and higher consciousness, as well as our own. This fosters a more organic and natural healing process, where therapists listen to and defer to clients’ innate wisdom rather than imposing external frameworks. In this episode, Harmony talks about the role of subtle energy in accessing spirituality in the therapy room, as well as the importance of understanding clients’ meaning-making and supporting them in differentiating from their thought-based reality. She discusses how this allows us to create a therapeutic container for higher spiritual development, allowing clients to reconnect with their innate wisdom and spirituality.
In the teaching portion, Harmony teaches the 5 essential skills in working with subtle energy in a psychotherapeutic container. To listen to the full episode, join us on Patreon: patreon.com/TheAwakenedTherapist
